An integrated process from design to functionalized 3D part

With more than 10 tools, implemented automatically, the 3DE100 enables a set of processes to create scalable prototypes for subsequent production on a high-volume production line. It allows, among other things:

  • Creation of the 3D Structure (FDM): With the integrated FDM 3D printing module, the 3DE100 offers you the possibility of creating varied, complex, miniature or large-scale 3D objects
  • Structural printing of electronic tracks: Once the 3D structure is created, the 3DE100 directly prints the electronic tracks on the surface of the object. The printing of functional inks is done with a precision of a few micrometers, allowing, for example, the creation of conductive, resistive, capacitive and dielectric circuits
  • Printing of conductive adhesives: for example, for the placement of electronic components
  • Component Placement (Pick and Place): electronic components are placed on the printed tracks. A high-precision Pick and Place system, with coil loaders and a wide range of nozzles, allows the manipulation of SMD, encapsulated or bare components, up to size 0201 (300*600µm)
  • Printing of encapsulant to ensure the protection of the electronic circuit formed

 

In addition to these key steps, the 3DE100 integrates capabilities for surface preparation and post-treatment, allowing for an optimized sequence of steps.
